Registration is open on a first come basis to all recruitable student-athletes, including ages 12 and older, high school, junior college and non-scholarship college golfers. Recruits may register for one or more combines. The combine is a golf tournament and not a camp.
The West Combine 36 hole results will again be included in the national Golfweek junior rankings.
*** If you register for the West Combine and then qualify for the 2018 IMG Junior World Championships you will be entered into the Day 1 Skills Challenges only and receive a 100% refund for the Day 2 & 3 Stroke Play competition. This exception is only for that championship and allows recruits to register for both and guarantee a tournament to compete in that week. ***
July 5-6 – Practice Round Tee Times available for Combine Participants for $30 with parent driving the cart.
July 6 – 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. Registration check-in at the Oak Valley clubhouse
July 7 – 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. Registration check-in at the Oak Valley clubhouse
12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Skills Challenges 1st & 10 tees
July 8 – 7:30 - 10:00 a.m. 1st & 10 tees 18 Hole Stroke Play 1st Round
5:00 - 6:30 p.m. College Golf Coaches Panel Discussion with recruits and parents
July 9 – 7:30 - 10:00 a.m. 1st & 10 tees 18 Hole Stroke Play Final Round
Lunch – July 8-9 for all participants
Participants are encouraged to check-in at the Oak Valley clubhouse from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 6th. You may also check-in on Saturday, July 7th between 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. in the clubhouse.
The host hotel for the West Combine is the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, located at the golf course.
The 36 hole Stroke Play results will be included in the Golfweek and Junior Golf Scoreboard national rankings. In addition, the combine Skills Challenge and Driving results will be nationally ranked with the results from combines throughout the country.
Information on airports, accommodations, driving directions, practice rounds, registration times, yardages and more will be posted on the website and sent to all registered participants.
NCAA RULES & GUIDELINES
NCAA Rules & Guidelines prohibit payment of combine expenses (transportation, registration fee, spending money, etc.) by representatives of any university's athletic interests. If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The refund/cancellation policy is that you receive $300, if you cancel at least 30 days prior to the combine, after which there would be no refund. Your refund will be reduced by the amount of any discount you received at registration. Credits toward a future combine will be considered on an individual bases. In the event that the combine is canceled or postponed because of weather conditions or a natural disaster, refunds will not be issued.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Combine staff will be available to assist with any medical issues and will help insure a healthy and safe environment. Emergency services will be notified in advance of the combine and asked to be readily available. The combine assumes no responsibility for accidents or illness.
