2017 West Combine Skills

Registration is open on a first come basis to all recruitable student-athletes, including ages 10 and older, high school, junior college and non-scholarship college golfers.

If you are playing in USGA qualifiers or the 2017 IMG Junior World Championships and are unable to play the three day combine, you are invited to participate in the one day Skills Challenges competition and be evaluated by College Golf Coaches. The Skills Challenges will test every part of your game and be set-up over the 18 holes of the Oak Valley golf course.

NCAA rules allow all College Golf Coaches, including DI coaches, in attendance at the Skills Challenges to speak with 2018 recruits at the conclusion of their round.  Some coaches in other divisions are also allowed to speak with 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 recruits depending on their specific recruiting rules.

Spectator/Caddy golf carts will be available for $30. Parents of participants 10-14 years old may caddy by carrying the bag, using a push cart or golf cart.


July 7 – Practice Round Tee Times available for Combine Participants for $30 after 12:30 p.m. with parent driving the cart.

July 8 – 
9:00 - 11:30 a.m. Registration check-in at the Oak Valley clubhouse

                12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Skills Challenges 1st & 10 tees

                6:00 - 8:00 p.m. College Golf Coaches Panel Discussion with recruits and parents

Information on airports, accommodations, driving directions, practice rounds, registration times, yardages and more will be posted on the website and sent to all registered participants. 

NCAA Rules & Guidelines prohibit payment of combine expenses (transportation, registration fee, spending money, etc.) by representatives of any university's athletic interests. If you have any questions, please contact us at

The refund/cancellation policy is that you receive $50, if you cancel at least 30 days prior to the combine, after which there would be no refund.  In the event that the combine is canceled or postponed because of weather conditions or a natural disaster, refunds will not be issued.

Combine staff will be available to assist with any medical issues and will help insure a healthy and safe environment. Emergency services will be notified in advance of the combine and asked to be readily available. The combine assumes no responsibility for accidents or illness.
