The field is limited because of the time of year. Past Coaches' Convention Combines have had more than 60 coaches attend to evaluate recruits and because the Combine is scheduled to coincide with the national coaches conventions the following three days.
NEW Coaches' Panel Discussion December 10th
College Golf Coaches from all levels of College Golf will have an open session discussion on how to earn scholarships and the reality of playing on a college golf team. Recruits and parents will be able to ask questions of the coaches.
Combine Skills Challenges
Combine Skills Challenges include putting skills (5' - 10' - 20' - 40') and playing for score from the fairway at 80 and 100 yards and from a bunker at 150 yards, accuracy from greenside using a 9 iron, accuracy from 40, 125 and 150 yards, driving accuracy for between 200-225 yards (boys) and 175-200 yards (girls), laying up your second shot on a par 5 to 75-100 yards from the hole in the fairway, accuracy for long and short bunker shots and driving into a fairway at a minimum distance.

During the first eight years of the College Golf Combines, more than a thousand recruits have been evaluated by College Golf Coaches at golf combines. Hundreds of recruits have received college golf scholarships after having their games tested by the combine Skills Challenges and evaluated by College Golf Coaches.

2016 West Combine - July 18-20
The College Golf Combines have provided an opportunity for more than 850 recruits from the 2008-2017 classes to be evaluated by College Golf Coaches. The Skills Challenge and 36 Hole Medal Play results are available to all coaches through live scoring during the competition and online with the digital Coach's Book.
